Diversification delivering engineering excellence to the rail sector supply chain

Bringing its acclaimed brand of engineering excellence to the rail sector, the Greenbank Group has established itself as a reliable partner for companies within the supply chain.

Since achieving EN 15085 Manufacturers of Railway Vehicles and Components Certification Levels 1 – 6, we have delivered a wide range of contracts for clients in the UK and overseas, including cab assemblies for trains destined for an operator in the south of England.

From our dedicated manufacturing facility in Derby, we have led a project to develop and install new compressor units for toilet systems on a heritage and rail tour operator’s Mark I and Mark II coaches, as well as stainless steel water tank fabrications to fit Class 170 diesel multiple units.

Our overseas projects portfolio has included the supply of various different safety critical fabricated and welded components for the Rail industry that have ranged in sizes up to 14 metres in length and weighing around 9 Tonnes delivered into the USA along with the design, manufacture, assembly and testing of a Gangway Fitment Test Machine for a Rail supplier in India, and the supply of assembly equipment for innovative people movers for flexible operation in both urban and airport transportation in the USA.

With a host of other quality assurance accreditations, Greenbank is now well placed for further diversification within the rail sector, forging even closer partnerships with like-minded suppliers in the supply chain.
