The Production Team Leader will assist the Production Manager with day-to-day factory operation and activities in all areas. Initially to work under the guidance of the Production Manager and gain knowledge of production department operations

Role and responsibilities
- Provide direction, instruction, guidance and leadership to the workforce operatives
- Demonstrate levels of communication that promotes a positive, effective, and collaborative environment at all levels of the business.
- Help create and implement strategies for work projects, all activities and efficient realisation.
- Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary to maintain programme and delivery.
- Select Team Members to Tasks who have combinations of strengths to achieve all goals.
- Delegate Tasks to each Operative / Team Member based upon their strengths and skill set and ensure these tasks, are conducted, and completed to a satisfactory standard.
- Identify and support, training and development needs including deficiencies, with potential solutions.
- Deal with day-to-day discipline and behaviour of all Team Members, reinforcing the accountability of individuals, resolving conflict quickly and amicably.
- Engage with the Team as groups and individuals to identify and support all support necessary to deliver improvements and success.
- Liaise with department representatives and all staff, contractors and maintenance contractors for applicable matters of safe and successful working.
- Supervise and assist staff.
- Maintain H&S in the department.
- Monitor contract hours in the department.
- Conduct inspections of completed items and products.
- Regular reporting of contract status to the Production Manager and Director, highlighting any areas for concern, include Commercial Dpt if it could potentially have impact on delivery schedule.
- Ensure workers are on the job, monitoring time keeping, minimising lost time and indirect hours.
- Ensure everyone is wearing the correct PPE for the work they are conducting.
- Ensure completed items, are checked, and verified before dispatch.

Role:
Prepare and issue detail and GA drawings, required on a contract by contract basis. Generate and issue paperwork in accordance with company procedures to execute contracts, i.e requisitions, schedules, works instructions. Assist in the same capacity for tenders plus liaison with other Greenbank personnel to assist with the timely execution of contracts and tenders.
Essential Requirements
These requirements are fundamental to this role, and will be covered during the interview process
- Ability to draft using 3D AutoCAD, using Autodesk software.
- Ability to use a VDU for long periods of time (with regular breaks)
- Ability to sit down at a desk for long periods of time (with regular breaks)
- Confident working at heights
- Comfortable working on customer sites with possible exposure to; inclement weather conditions if outside, and hot, cold, dusty, noisy, wet and dry environments,
- Comfortable working underground
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
- Experience and knowledge working with pipework, ideally lined pipework, but we will also consider experience with standard fittings, standard tubes and standard flanges.
- Experience working with general structural steelwork, pipe supports, access platforms and support structures.
Main Duties
- Produce AutoCAD drawings and works instructions for the factory to manufacture.
- Produce drawings on AutoCad for pre tender work enquiries.
- Design any customer components that may be necessary to complete installation
- Inspect the finished components to ensure that they are correct to specification, as and when required.
- Ensure that projects are completed to the agreed time scale and meet all the customers' requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive notes and records including all design calculations in connection with each design task and will keep such records in a form to simplify their retrieval for future reference.
- Identify any key draughting issues or problems and inform Engineering Manager or Drawing Office Supervisor.
- Prepare other documentation as required by our procedures for execution of a contract.
- Assist at Customer sites with measuring of existing customer plant and equipment. Assess how the anticipated installation work will fit in within the existing infrastructure.
- By flexible in your approach to working on site and outside the country as contracts dictate. • Attend meetings with customers/sub-contractors as the contract dictates.
- Be available to work paid overtime as and when contracts dictate.
- Liaise with site installation personnel as well as on site as contracts require.

The Project Engineer job is to take ownership and commercial responsibility for projects ensuring that they are right first time every time and to ensure that profits and deliveries are achieved and all works follow strict compliance with Company procedures and processes. The role includes being proactive and professional and communicating effectively with internal departments, suppliers and our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formally agree and communicate project goals – Financial, Quality, and Delivery through the Project Launch and Handover process.
- Assess projects for risk (financial, technical etc), safety requirements, competence requirements, quality plans and inspection requirements. Work with other members of the team to ensure all relevant action plans are identified and implemented
- Conduct weekly assessments of contract progress and adjust forward planning estimates and budgets
- Report weekly project status and progress to be tabled at the management meeting by the Engineering Manager paying particular attention to timing and financial risks to the business, ensuring areas of risk to the business are escalated as soon as possible
- Produce and maintain project plans either on Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Project (detail and format dependant on size and complexity of the project) and communicate to all relevant parties
- Prepare Design Input Criteria in conjunction with the design department, to input in to design milestones and monitor throughout the design review process
- Initiate and chair project review meetings with members of the project team at key stages of the project/contract – launch, design review, manufacture, assembly and installation
- Negotiate prices, deliveries and payment terms with suppliers
- Manage the project to ensure that all goals are achieved:-
- Information is issued on time
- Materials procured to ensure their timely delivery for when they are required
- Documentation prepared to contract requirements – including risk assessments, method statements, UKCA/CE documentation and Operation and Maintenance manuals
- Determine and agree contract variations with customers
- Managing projects, working within agreed target cost, quality and delivery constraints • Communicate variations to plan to all relevant parties

- Prepare and issue work instructions Route Cards, Drawings to sub-contractors / assembly / installation teams in line with the companies' quality procedures and in good time to allow for preparation of accurate planning.
- Provide technical support to all staff (mechanical & electrical design, manufacturing, assembly, site personnel) throughout the duration of the various projects managed, to ensure timely completion of all projects, within agreed budgets and targets
