Successful shutdown achieved at Bickerstaffe WTW

On 11th December there was a successful shutdown that concluded with the completion of specific works that allowed the upgrade of the Bickerstaffe Water Treatment Plant to continue.

After working very closely with Advance and United Utilities, an isolation of the existing pipework systems was achieved.  This then allowed Franklyn Yates to remove certain sections of redundant pipework and to install new pipework and valves.
