Franklyn Yates have secured a contract to carry out the Sirofloc replacement at Rivelin Water Treatment Works, which is just outside Sheffield in Yorkshire. The scope of work includes the design, manufacture and installation of various pipework systems in a completely new Clarifier building and within an extension to an existing Rapid Gravity Filter (RGF) building.
Franklyn Yates will be offsite manufacturing (OSM) the majority of the pipework systems and will be developing the design in conjunction with the clients, MMB JV, utilising 3D modelling and a DfMA strategy for modularisation.
