Customers tee off for charity

Golf

Greenbank customers have helped to raise over £2,000 for a charity that helps create special memories for people with life-threatening conditions and their families. By taking part in the Derbyshire firm’s annual golf day they’ve provided a massive boost for Me and Dee.

The popular event attracted teams from across the power generation rail, steel and cement industries with players from Ratcliffe Power Station crowned this year’s winners.

They fought off stiff competition from Drax power station and GE who finished in second and third place.

After a day on the greens at Morley Hayes Golf Club, a celebration dinner helped to bring the total raised on the day to £2,135.

Ray Moorehead, Greenbank Sales Director commented: “We’ve enjoyed another fantastic day with our valued customers and together we’ve helped to raise a fantastic sum for a very worthy cause.”
