RIVELIN CLEAN WATER TREATMENT WORKS - SIROFLOC REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Franklyn Yates Engineering Limited have been contracted by Mott McDonald Bentley and are responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of £3m of  stainless steel, ductile iron and scotchcote carbon steel pipework, steelwork, pumps and chemical dosing pipework.

Initially on site in October 2016 the project will run until December 2017.

3 New Rapid Gravity Filters (RGF)

Design, Manufacture and Installation of:

• Carbon Steel Galvanised Structural Steelwork
• Stainless Steel Pipework and Supports
• Scotchcoted Carbon Steel Pipework
• Weir Box Assembly
• Airscour Pipework

7 New Flat Bottom Sludge Blanket Clarifiers

Design, Manufacture and Installation of:

• Stainless Steel Inlet Pipework, Headers and Supports
• Stainless Steel Outlet Troughs, Pipework and Supports

Procurement and Installation of:

• Peristaltic Pumps
• Mono Pumps
• Sump Pumps
• Valves Tanks and Vessels

Interconnecting Pipework

Design Manufacture and Installation of:

• Stainless Steel Raw Water Feed Pipework and Supports
• Ductile Iron Sludge Return Pipework and Supports

Chemical Dosing Pipework

Design and Procurement of:

• Caustic Soda, Ferric Sulphate and Poly Electrolyte Dosing Pipework
• Catch Pots

Results

Utilising state of the art 3D modelling allows upfront visualisation of the whole project with the ability to integrate the models into the clients overall model ensuring all parties on site are able to coordinate there works with that of those around them.

Having an in house fabrication facility enables all items manufactured by Franklyn Yates Engineering Limited. to be tightly controlled.
