Successful Installation of river crossing in Penrith

After a complicated design and manufacture process Franklyn Yates Engineering completed the installation of a new 37-meter-long self-supporting pipe bridge, complete with pipework, for Bethell Construction and United Utilities, across the river Eamont at Penrith in Cumbria.

The pipe bridge and pipework were manufactured at the workshops in Connah's Quay in 3 separate modules that were bolted together at the side of the river before being lifted into position as one complete structure.
